We’re looking for friendly, supportive umpires across the region to help keep our games running smoothly while creating a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone on court.

At Flyt Netball, umpiring is about more than just rules - it’s about helping players feel confident, safe and encouraged, especially those who are new or returning to the game. You’ll play a key role in keeping matches fair while also being a calm, reassuring presence and a cheerleader for our flock 🪽

✨ Key Responsibilities

Officiate matches in a fair, consistent and supportive manner

Apply rules clearly while recognising when players may need guidance

Communicate decisions in a calm, friendly and encouraging way

Help maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere on court

Support player safety and wellbeing at all times

Keep games flowing smoothly and on time

💛 About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Approachable, patient and supportive

Confident in making decisions while staying encouraging

A positive presence on court and a natural cheerleader for players

Passionate about netball and helping others enjoy the game

🎓Experience & Training

Umpiring experience is helpful but not essential

A basic understanding of netball rules is preferred

Ongoing support and guidance available
