Terms & Conditions

1.⁠ ⁠Match Fees

• Match fees cover the cost of venue hire, use of courts, and the administration and equipment needed to run the league.

• By registering, teams agree to participate for the full season. Seasons run for a minimum of 10 weeks and up to a maximum of 24 weeks.

• Teams will have exclusive use of their allocated court or pitch during scheduled fixtures. Fixtures must be at least one day apart and no more than 14 days apart.

• Fees apply only to the chosen netball league and cannot be transferred to other sports, leagues, or venues.

• Payments to match officials are separate from match fees and will be confirmed when joining the league.

2.⁠ ⁠Payments

• Payments are collected via a payment link after each fixture.

• Teams must ensure that payments are made within 24 hours of their scheduled match.

• Payments must be made on time. Failure to pay may result in suspension or removal from the league.

• Late or failed payments may incur a £15 charge. Accounts more than 7 days overdue may result in suspension of playing privileges until balances are cleared.

• Flyt Netball reserves the right to remove teams with unpaid fees.

3.⁠ ⁠Health & Safety

• Netball is a contact sport and carries a risk of injury. Participation is at each player’s own risk.

• Public liability insurance is in place for all Flyt Netball leagues, covering liability for injury or damage arising from Flyt Netball’s negligence. This does not extend to personal injuries sustained during play unless directly caused by such negligence

• Teams and players are encouraged to arrange their own personal injury insurance.

• Venue conditions are outside of Flyt Netball’s direct control. Team captains must ensure that the playing environment is safe before play begins. 

• Flyt Netball is not responsible for injuries or losses arising from venue defects.

• A Flyt Netball representative will inspect playing conditions and raise concerns before fixtures commence.

• Only Flyt Netball may cancel fixtures. Where cancellations occur, the season may be extended to ensure all games are completed.

4.⁠ ⁠Conduct

• All players and teams must follow the Players’ Flyt Guide, provided in the captain’s pack.

• Captains are responsible for the behaviour of their players and supporters.

• Misconduct may result in suspension or removal from the league.

• All players must be aged 18 or over.

• Teams may appeal any decision they believe to be unfair. The appeal process will be explained when raised.

• If a team is removed, Flyt Netball reserves the right to charge for any remaining scheduled fixtures.
   

5.⁠ ⁠Cancellations & Forfeitures

• A team failing to attend a fixture will be charged for both their own match fee and that of their opponent.

• Missing two consecutive fixtures without written withdrawal notice will result in liability for the remainder of the season’s fees.

• To withdraw from a league, teams must provide written notice. Teams remain liable for scheduled fixtures unless a replacement team is found.

​​​6.⁠ ⁠Team Registration

• Teams automatically registered to the next season and should inform Flyt Netball if they wish to opt out of the next season auto registration.

• Captains must register through the Magic Sports Platform (or another approved method) before the published deadline.

• Teams that fail to register on time will not be included in the fixture schedule.

 
7.⁠ ⁠Data Protection

• Flyt Netball complies with UK GDPR when handling personal data.

• Information provided will only be used for the purpose of running the leagues and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

• Any attempt to solicit or recruit players away from Flyt Netball leagues in favour of another provider may result in removal and, if necessary, legal action.

 
8.⁠ ⁠Insurance & Liability

• Public liability insurance is in place for all Flyt Netball leagues.

• By registering, players acknowledge that:

• Participation in netball carries inherent risks.

• Flyt Netball is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property, except where such injury or loss is directly caused by Flyt Netball’s negligence.

• Flyt Netball is not responsible for indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from participation.

• Teams and players are strongly advised to arrange their own personal accident insurance.

9.⁠ ⁠Disclaimer of Responsibility

• Flyt Netball provides social and recreational netball opportunities and does not assess the individual fitness, health, or medical suitability of players to participate.

• Each player is solely responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of taking part in matches and training.

• Players are encouraged to seek medical advice if they have any concerns about their ability to participate safely.

• By joining the league, all players accept full responsibility for their own participation and acknowledge that Flyt Netball cannot be held responsible for pre-existing conditions or injuries not directly caused by Flyt Netball’s negligence.

• While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, Flyt Netball does not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or availability of website information.

By registering and taking part in Flyt Netball leagues, all players and teams confirm their acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
